Laura Shepherd received her training and degrees in Music Education and Theater from Oberlin College 
and Conservatory of Music in Oberlin, Ohio. After graduation, Laura relocated to the Seattle area to work with Studio East. She has been teaching drama and music and directing and musically directing youth theater productions since 2001, and loves every minute! Laura is pleased to be the Education Director at Studio East, managing the education programs for this wonderful youth theater company year-round. In her spare time, Laura teaches a dozen private voice students and sings with BlueStreet Voices.
